James Lole

James leads our technical department, providing expert advice and guidance to Partners and staff on audit, accounting and disclosure issues.

James qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1990. Prior to joining HLB Vantis Audit in 2006 he spent his career providing audit and business advisory services in the mid-tier sector, working closely with a wide range of successful businesses from AIM-listed companies through to owner-managed businesses.

James is responsible for ensuring our audit teams fully understand the framework within which the audit is conducted and are fully equipped to deliver an efficient audit, focusing on the areas that matter.

James has extensive knowledge of both UK and International Financial Reporting Standards and works closely with our Partners to understand the application in complex circumstances when they arise.
